Stephen Adrian Lawrance steps into the spotlight
Stephen is a singer, songwriter and artist developer who achieved a number one on CMT Television’s Top Twenty Countdown and a Billboard Canada Country top 5 with his song “When a Momma’s Boy Meets A Daddy’s Girl,” co-written with Aaron Goodvin and Miriam Webber. The track is featured on CCMA-winning artist Aaron Pritchett’s Juno-nominated album The Score. Over his career, Stephen has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Aaron Goodvin, Steven Lee Olsen, Jade Eagleson, Byron Hill, and Danielle Bourjeaurd.
In 2005, Stephen helped a young Steven Lee Olsen secure a Nashville publishing deal, laying the foundation for Olsen’s Grammy-nominated and chart-topping successes, including Blue Ain’t Your Colour.
Stephen’s songwriting credits include cuts with Jordy Jackson, Danielle Bourjeaurd, Brad James, and the Redneck Millionaires. He’s also a sought-after speaker at country songwriting symposiums across North America.
Signed to Roar Records in 2020, Stephen has released singles like Cold Comfort, Write Our Own Love Song, and Wait Till Daddy Gets Home. His latest releases include Beer Happens and Already June.
His debut album, Last Words Out the Door, is set to release in 2025.
